Commuters are being reminded to check their journeys ahead of strike action from today which will impact people for the rest of the week.
There are no trains running across the county today due to strike action from train driver’s union Aslef union.
Rail services will also not run this Saturday.
Govia Thameslink Railway (GTR), which operates Southern, Thameslink, Great Northern Gatwick Express, said services will also be impacted tomorrow because of the strike action.
There is also a limited service on Friday due to an RMT strike which means services will start later and finish earlier.
Jenny Saunders, customer services director for GTR, said: “We’re sorry that this period of industrial action is again likely to disrupt travel and people’s plans, especially during half term week and for events such as the Derby Festival where no rail services will be available on either Friday or Saturday.
“We urge passengers to check before they travel for the latest information, particularly as on some days there will be no train services at all and there may be later start-ups, busier services and early finishes on the other days.”

On Friday, there is a limited service from Brighton to London Bridge and London Victoria, as well as limited services from Brighton to Littlehampton, Eastbourne and Seaford.
No services will run on Friday to Ashford International Airport or Southampton Central.
Aslef says train drivers have not had a pay rise for four years.
Both unions claim the Government is preventing the train companies making an acceptable offer, which ministers deny.
