A sailor has died after "going overboard" on a yacht.
The sailor, part of Sussex Yacht Club, was out at sea on the English Channel yesterday.
Reportedly, the sailor went overboard and a French fishing vessel nearby came to assist with the rescue effort.
Yesterday was the Royal Escape Yacht race, an historic race from Brighton Marina to Normandy in France.
The race is run by Sussex Yacht Club in Shoreham, the event brings together crews from France and the UK.
