A fresh appeal has been launched as police revealed the name of a man found dead at the side of a road.
Tony Barrow was hit by a car which did not stop at Clayton Hill, on the A273 near Hassocks in the early hours of Thursday, May 18.
Emergency services were called but the 64-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.
Hassocks residents have paid tribute to Tony, who was a "well known and familiar figure in the village" and was often seen walking in the area.
A 59-year-old man from Hove who was arrested in connection with the incident has been bailed, pending further enquiries.

Now, police have launched a fresh appeal for any motorists driving in the area who may have witnessed other vehicles or have dashcam footage of other vehicles to come forward.
They are appealing in particular to drivers who were in the area between 00.15am and 00.40am.
