Forensics and police officers, including Brighton's most famous detective, have been spotted at a crime scene near the beach.
A police van, car and unmarked vehicle were all spotted in Madeira Drive this afternoon as detectives in white overalls searched an antiques shop.
The scene was part of filming for the latest series of ITV crime drama Grace, and camera crews took over the street to make the show.
Lead actor John Simm, playing Detective Superintendent Roy Grace, was joined by Richie Campbell, playing Detective Superintendent Glen Branson.
A cast of extras also walked around the set, including paramedics and police officers.
Several cameras, lights and set pieces were installed around a unit underneath Duke's Mound near the motor club.
Cars and pedestrians were stopped by security for a short amount of time during takes, as the beachfront fell silent to ensure the scene was perfect.
The crews are expected to film in areas around the city over the next week, including at Devil's Dyke.
