Update: Sussex Police have confirmed that Charlie has been found safe and thanked the public for their help.
A search has been launched for an young boy who went missing yesterday.
11-year-old Charlie was reported missing after disappearing from Rustington on Saturday, May 20.
Now, Police have launched an appeal to find the boy, saying they are concerned for his welfare.
A Sussex Police spokesman added that Charlie is “not believed to be in possession of a mobile phone or any money”.
The young boy was described as white, about 5ft 6 inches tall and of medium build. He is also said to have curly strawberry blond hair with a short back and sides.
Police believe he may be wearing a blue tracksuit as well as white Nike Air Force trainers.
Anyone who sees Charlie is urged to call 999, quoting serial 1242 of 20/05, as well as sharing the appeal.
