A petrol station has been forced to close for maintenance work.

The Asda petrol garage in Brighton Marina closed last week, with construction work still ongoing.

Petrol pumps at the garage have been removed while the maintenance takes place.

A date for re-opening has yet to be announced, but an Asda source said that the petrol station is set to be back open for motorists before the end of the month.

An Asda spokeswoman said: “The petrol station has been closed for necessary maintenance work and is set to be re-opened before the end of the month.”
