Emergency services have scrambled to the A259 after a car overturned in a two-car crash.
The collision, which took place yesterday evening, saw two cars heavily damaged and lying in the middle of the road.
Fire engines and ambulances closed the junction where the incident took place as emergency services responded to the crash.
Following the incident on Seaside Road in Eastbourne, The Argus understands that a man was taken to hospital.
One car, a black Volkswagen, was resting on its roof and bonnet at the side of the road next to a crossing on the side of the street.
The other vehicle, a silver Lexus also suffered heavy damage to the bonnet and passenger side of the car.
Sussex Police, East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service and South East Coast Ambulance Service were all approached for comment.
