A town is to host a musical spectacular with performers and a firework finale.
Uckfield’s leading summer event – Proms on the Pitch – is back for a fifth year in July.
The musical celebration on July 15 at Uckfield Rugby Club will be “fun for the whole family”.
Uckfield Concert Brass leads the traditional Last Night of the Proms programme, including Land Of Hope And Glory, Jerusalem and Rule Britannia.
The band will be joined by soprano Jo Appleby, who has toured the world with some of the biggest names in music and entertainment.
The Flat Pack, a vocal harmony trio from Brighton, will be returning to the event to perform swing music.
Jazz fusion group The Fabulous Red Diesel from Sussex will also be back for another year.
The programme also features Uckfield Theatre Guild and Holy Cross Church children’s choir.
Tickets are available online at uckfieldproms.co.uk, with early bird tickets available until the end of the month for just £10.
Standard advance tickets are £12.50.
There will be food and drink for sale on site and plenty of free parking.
Gates open at 4pm. The first live event at 5pm.
