A long-established city haberdashery store has opened at a new site.
Closs and Hamblin, known as C&H, was in Western Road, Brighton, for many years. It has been selling stock at discounted prices as it prepared to move to the new, smaller site in Duke Street.
The new shop, which opened yesterday, sells "bespoke curtains, blinds, and shutters" but not haberdashery as it did in Western Road.

Closs and Hamblin, which began life in London in 1933, had been in Western Road since the late 1970s. It also has shops in Canterbury, Chichester, Eastbourne, Guildford, Horsham, Tunbridge Wells and Winchester.
Residents of Brighton previously shared happy memories of shopping at the Western Road store.
Colleen Dempsey said: “I spent many wonderful Saturdays as a little girl in the cafe with my mummy, nanny, aunty and sister. I know it’s only a shop but it holds some very fond memories.”
