Dramatic video footage shows burn marks on a railway line which caused mass cancellations.
The rail which carries the electrical current to power the trains caught alight yesterday morning in the Barnham area.
Trains between Littlehampton and Southampton were cancelled with rail replacement bus services in place for much of the route.

The fire means some 110 feet of track needs to be replaced.
Video shot by a Network Rail engineer shows black scorch marks along several points along the line where it caught alight.
Network Rail said it was working hard to ensure normal service could resume today.
