A humorous sign has been installed in protest over a pothole-ridden street.
Motorists in Hawthorn Road, Bognor, are being warned to brace for impact as they drive over the many big crevices in the road.
The laminated A4-size sign was put up on a traffic light pole at the junction with Collyer Avenue, calling it the "worst maintained road in the county".
The word "caution" is printed in large red letters.
The sign says: "Remove dentures. Adjust bra straps. Secure your nuts. Welcome to the worst maintained road in the county. Courtesy of West Sussex County Council."
The road is riddled with deep potholes which the person behind the sign believes is West Sussex County Council's fault.
But the council said the road is inspected regularly and "a number of" potholes have been repaired in the last two weeks.
A spokeswoman said: "Hawthorn Road is inspected every three months and works are raised to deal with any defects that are identified as part of these inspections.

"Our contractors have repaired a number of potholes in Hawthorn Road in the past two weeks and the road is also scheduled for larger resurfacing works next year.
"If members of the public come across potholes the quickest and most effective way to report them to the county council is via our online reporting pages."
