Part of the A259 is blocked after a crash involving three cars.
The incident happened this afternoon at around 4.30pm on the A259 Eastbourne Road near Castle View Court in between Eastbourne and Pevensey.
There is heavy traffic both ways and emergency services are in attendance.
Two of the cars have come off the road in the crash.

It is unclear if there are any serious injuries at the scene.
Traffic is now clear in the area.
Sussex Police have been approached for comment.
