Police are responding to an incident in the city.
The National Police Air Service (NPAS) helicopter was over Withdean area of Brighton.
Multiple police units have also been seen in the area.
The power was cut briefly off at Preston Park railway station for around 30 minutes from 9.10pm and all lines were blocked.
Sussex Police have been contacted for comment.
