A heartbroken man says he will never stop searching for his missing wife as he marks her 60th birthday with a renewed appeal.
Fatima Mohamed-Ali was last seen by her husband at the couple’s home in Park Drive Close, Newhaven, in 2016.
Mohamed Mohamed-Ali, who has been through years of counselling and suffered severe weight loss, has today relaunched the appeal for information.
“Almost for two years I never left home, I never went to work. I lost almost four or five stone. I remember police coming to my home visiting to me telling to eat and look after myself,” said Mohamed.
“I’m waiting, I’m waiting that one day there will be a knock, either with good news or bad news.”

Mohamed last saw Fatima at around 7.30am on February 12, 2016.
She was caught on CCTV walking along nearby Avis Road at 7.58am but has not been seen since.
Since her disappearance at 52, there has been just one potential sighting of the mother-of-three and grandmother.
In 2018, police released CCTV footage of a woman matching Fatima’s description running for a bus in North Street, Brighton, on August 7, 2017.
There have been no further updates since.
It means Mohamed and his family live in constant limbo, not knowing what has happened to their beloved Fatima.
They have been forced to contemplate the possibility Fatima has killed herself.
Mohamed believes that would be out of character but added: “If that is what is, then I’ll have to accept it."
Speaking on the day of her birthday, Mohamed said: “If you’ve seen Fatima or know where Fatima is - or if even Fatima is listening – on the February 12, 2016, we lost a good wife, a mother and a grandmother.
“If anyone is out there, please help us.
“We miss you and wish you a happy 60th birthday, wherever you are.”
Fatima is Indian, 5’ 2” with a slim build, brown eyes, and black shoulder-length hair, often worn in a ponytail.
