A restaurant which specialises in a variety of meat dishes including wagyu burgers and bone marrow mash has opened.
Carne had a soft launch in February and says it is now “finding its place” in the centre of Hove.
The restaurant, in Church Road, has been created with “sustainability and locally sourced produce in mind”.
It serves a variety of dishes including scallops, beef tartar, wagyu burgers, seabass and more.
Carne was launched by Phil Bartley, founder of Great British Charcuterie.
Phil Bartley, Founder of Carne, said: "We are really excited to have opened Carne, to a really great welcome from the people of Hove.
“We’re dry ageing beef on site, working with local farms and launching with a great wine list and drinks menu featuring Sussex producers."
The menu has a focus on beef and sources from Trenchmore Farm near Cowfold, as well as further afield with highland wagyu in Scotland.
