The line-up for a comedy festival has been revealed - and these are the famous faces in entertainment who will be coming to the city.
Brighton Comedy Garden returns to Preston Park this summer, promising a series of “meticulously curated shows” across its five-night bill.
This year the lineup includes some much-loved British comedy stars including Jack Dee, Ed Gamble, who co-hosts popular podcast Off Menu, and Sara Pascoe.
Bafta-winning Dylan Morgan, Qi’s Alan Davis and ventriloquist Nina Conti will also be playing at the open-air festival.
As well as entertainment, there will be bars and food from local street food vendors.
The shows will take place across five nights and the weekend afternoons from Wednesday, July 5, to Sunday, July 9.

It is all set within a “boutique” festival setting and the open-air arena will be seated.
Also performing are Lolly Adefope, Brighton’s own Jen Brister and star of Taskmaster Fern Brady.
The Comedy Garden is produced by sibling team Will Briggs and Cass Randolph from 57 Festivals and the pair are “thrilled” to be announcing this year’s festival.
Will said: “We’re over the moon with this year’s line-up, it is definitely one of our biggest line-ups coming to Preston Park. Jack Dee has been on our wishlist for a long time and we can’t wait to get this year’s festival started.”

“Often people buy tickets to see one act they love and are introduced to many more amazing comedians while with us, this festival is the ultimate showcase to catch the best comedians of the moment”
