Six chinooks have been filmed flying along the Sussex coast.
The US army helicopters flew past Brighton at around 1.30pm this afternoon.
One bystander said “it felt and sounded like Brighton was under attack”.
The chinooks flew from Lydd Airport in Kent, near Hastings.

They flew directly over Hastings and Eastbourne before heading out to sea off the coast of Newhaven, past Brighton, Worthing and Bognor.
The helicopters have just flown past the Isle of Wight.
A bystander said: "I was walking along the seafront and saw a loads of Chinooks flying overhead.
"I've seen people online talking about how their houses were shaking.
“From where I was, It felt and sounded like Brighton was under attack."
The chinooks have gone past Bournemouth and are now heading towards Cardiff.
