Two teenagers will appear in court next month after a 15-year-old boy was stabbed in Portslade.

Police received reports that the boy had been stabbed in Valley Road during the early hours of August 9, last year.

The 15-year-old was taken to hospital and treated for “serious injuries”. He has now been discharged.

Now, another 15-year-old, from Hove, and a 16-year-old, from Portslade, have been charged with wounding with intent, and will appear at Worthing Youth Court on April 20.

Investigator Rose Horan said: “We have charged two suspects in connection with this serious incident, but we are continuing to appeal for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

“If you can help with the investigation, please contact police online or via 101, quoting serial 126 of 09/08.”

The three teenagers cannot be named for legal reasons.
