Emergency services are attending to an incident taking place on a city centre road.
Police and ambulance crews are at the scene of an incident on West Street in Brighton which took place shortly before 6pm this evening.
It is currently unclear what has led to the incident.
One side of West Street is closed with police officers controlling traffic in both directions.
Sussex Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service have been approached for comment.
