Comedian Ricky Gervais was treated to a sneak peek of an exhibition showing the work of late photographer Roger Bamber this afternoon.
Funny man Ricky was spotted by stunned onlookers as he took a break between sold out shows, playing at the Brighton Centre last night and again this evening.
He visited Brighton Museum and Art Gallery where staff gave a tour of the new Roger Bamber Out of the Ordinary installation, which celebrates the life and work of the Brighton photographer, who died last year.
Creative programme manager, Nicola Coleby said: “Ricky was in town and visiting Brighton Museum and Art Gallery.

"We invited him to have a preview of our new Roger Bamber exhibition which is being installed before it opens on April 1.
“He said he loves museums and really enjoyed the visit. He was very friendly and really happy to pose for some photos with us.
“Ricky also said he comes to Brighton a lot and has visited the Royal Pavilion before and loved it too.”
Tickets for the exhibition are available to buy via the museum’s website.
