Emergency crews are at the scene of an incident this afternoon in which a car appears to have crashed through the front wall of an Indian restaurant.
A badly damaged vehicle can be seen in front of a gaping hole has appeared next to the main entrance of Basmati, in Chichester, with rubble strewn across the road.
Fire crews, paramedics and police officers are on scene as Nyton Road remains shut.
It is not yet clear if there have been any injuries, though the left side of the restaurant appears to be crumbling.
