Junior doctors have gathered outside hospitals as part of national strike action taking place this week.
NHS doctors are staging a walkout over conditions for patients as well as fair pay following a dispute with the government.
Placards reading “reduced to clear” and “pay restoration for doctors” were held on the picket line as staff continue to pile the pressure on bosses.
Protesters outside Worthing General Hospital formed one of several picket lines across the county today.
Many doctors wore their scrubs outside the hospital as part of the planned action set to last three days.

The strike has been called from 7am on Monday, March 13 until 7am on Thursday, March, 16.
Picket lines are expected at other hospitals including outside the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton.
The pay dispute comes as doctors are seeking a 35 per cent pay rise. The British Medical Association is calling for the rise to make up for a 26 per cent real term pay cut for doctors since 2008.
