An estimated 35,000 people are being affected by an ongoing power outage.
Haywards Heath town centre shops have been hit by the power cut, and thousands of residents across West Sussex are still without electricity.
The outage has been caused by repair works after a fault in a substation earlier this week.

UK Power Networks is attending to the incident and the power was first turned off at 12.45pm today so repairs could be carried out in the Burgess Hill area.
The works were planned to take about three hours, but have now been delayed.
A spokeswoman for UK Power Networks said: "We would like to apologise that complex repair work at Burgess Hill took longer than estimated.
"Our engineers worked hard on site. Power supplies were restored to customers in the Burgess Hill area at 4.12pm."
