A major power cut has hit a leisure centre and supermarket.
The outage in Haywards Heath today meant shoppers in Sainsbury's were left in the dark.
Swimmers at the Dolphin Leisure Centre in Pasture Hill Road had to leave the pool.
One user told The Argus: "I was having a nice relax in the steam room when all the lights went out.
"We were told we had to all leave. Someone said the town centre was out too."
The Sainsbury's in Bannister Way was also left in the dark.
One customer said: "The shops did not have power but they must have generators because I was able to use the till as normal."
The loss of power is related to a major outage earlier this week where more than 30,000 homes as well as several schools and businesses in West Sussex lost power for hours.
A spokeswoman from UK power networks said: "We have temporarily turned off power in the Burgess Hill area so that we can carry out further safety checks, after a fault in a substation on March 9.
"This is affecting supplies to several thousand properties from 12.45pm today for about three hours.
"Our teams are working hard, and will reconnect supplies as quickly as is safely possible."
At 4pm, works were ongoing FULL UPDATE HERE.
