Searching for houses in Brighton, like much of the UK, can be quite a tricky task, especially with house prices almost continually on the rise.
You might wonder what some of the cheapest properties you can buy in the area are, excluding options such as shared ownership or retirement property.
If you're looking for a property on the lower end of the price scale in Brighton, then Zoopla may have an option for you.
A one-bedroom terraced house on St John Mews on Bristol Road is on sale for £350,000 on Zoopla and is part of a gated community.
Take a look inside the property
On its Zoopla page, it says: "Perfectly formed Cottage style house with allocated parking in a friendly gated community moments from the seafront and within Kemp Town Village."
Upon entering the property you will come into the living room which makes up most of the ground floor.
It is described as "neutrally decorated" and is said to have a "lovely homely cottage feel".
The living room leads directly to the kitchen which has double doors out onto the front of the mews.
It is decorated with "high grey gloss wall and base units" and comes with many integrated appliances such as a under counter fridge freezer, washing machine and dishwasher.
Heading upstairs in the property you will find the double bedroom which has a walk-in wardrobe area and another cupboard.
The bathroom is also on this floor which has a white suite with chrome fittings, fully tiled and a sash window.
The Zoopla page adds: "Kemp Town Village has vibrant shops, coffee shops and restaurants and the seafront is a short walk away from Brighton College, the Royal Sussex Hospital and Kemp Town Seafront and Village amenities."
