A therapy dog has been reunited with its owner after being stolen at a shop.
Pictures show the heartwarming moment Dylan was reunited with his vulnerable owner after he was taken from her at a Nisa in Moulsecoomb yesterday.
Sussex Police launched an appeal to find the pooch, which was retweeted by author and TV presenter Richard Osman, who is from Cuckfield.
The appeal garnered a number of leads and reports of sightings from the public and police were able to find Dylan and arrest a man from Brighton.
A Sussex Police spokesman said: “Thank you to everyone who contacted us regarding our appeal to find Dylan the therapy dog, who was stolen from his owner at a shop in Moulsecoomb yesterday.
“We received a number of leads which enabled us to locate Dylan and collar the suspect, a man from Brighton, who has been arrested.
“Dylan has since been reunited with his owner and is no doubt receiving lots of love and treats.”
