Grimsby Town has apologised after using an offensive video of Katie Price’s son Harvey as they celebrated their FA Cup win.
The football club's historic victory against Southampton was overshadowed after a short video of Harvey appeared on their Twitter page following the win.
The clip featured Harvey saying “what a day” while the caption on the post read: “Signing off for the night! Enjoy your night, Town fans.”
Twitter users took issue with the post and thought it was mocking Harvey, who has Prader-Willi syndrome, autism, ADHD and partial blindness.
One accused Grimsby Town of "taking the p*** out of disabled people".
The club has since apologised for the video, saying it was not their intention to cause any offence.
They have since removed the post from their social media accounts.
In a statement, Grimsby Town said: “It has come to our attention that an inappropriate gif was posted on the club’s official Twitter account late last night following our game against Southampton in the Emirates FA Cup.
“The post was removed this morning as soon as we were made aware.
“We would like to wholeheartedly apologise for any offence it has caused.”
