Peri-peri chicken restaurant Nando's is set to open a new restaurant in the city.
Signs for the new branch have appeared in London Road, Brighton, which say that a "new home for peri-peri" will be opening at the site.
The billboards say the restaurant will be "opening soon", while another says: "Fire up the grills, are you ready?"
It comes just weeks after a new dessert restaurant, Heavenly Desserts, opened at the site next door as part of a recently constructed student accommodation block.
A new Starbucks coffee shop will also be opening as part of the complex.
The latest Nando's will be the fourth in the city - the others are in Duke Street in Brighton, Brighton Marina and the Goldstone Retail Park in Hove.
Another Nando's restaurant will open later this month in Worthing.
The chain, which specialises in flame-grilled peri-peri style chicken, was founded in South Africa in 197 and now has more than 1,200 outlets in 30 countries.
A spokeswoman for Nando's said: "We are excited to announce that we are coming to London Road, Brighton.
"Bringing all the peri-peri heat, we will be opening in the coming months. Watch this space for more details."
