Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been reportedly evicted from Frogmore Cottage by the King.
According to the Mirror, King Charles made the decision to remove the Duke and Duchess of Sussex from the Windsor property as there has been no improvement in the couple’s relationship with the Royal Family.
The cottage has reportedly been offered to Prince Andrew, with Harry and Meghan allegedly arranging for their belongings to be sent to their home in California.
According to royal biographer Omid Scobie, the King’s decision came after the release of Prince Harry’s controversial memoir Spare earlier this year.
Mr Scobie said that relations between the couple and the Royal Family are at an “all-time low” and told Yahoo: “It’s news, sources tell me, that has left Harry and Meghan stunned, and at least two members of the Royal Family ‘appalled’.”
He also said that a source said the Sussexes have been given until the summer, after the King’s coronation, to remove their belongings after allegedly only being given just two weeks.
The late Queen gifted Frogmore Cottage to the couple following their wedding in 2018 and underwent a £2.4 million renovation the following year.
The Sussexes only lived in the property for six months, however, before quitting as working royals and moving to the United States.
