A house situated in an East Sussex village has been named among the top 10 most romantic properties for sale in the UK right now according to the property site Zoopla.
The five-bed detached property can be found in Beckley and is listed for £1,250,000.
Daniel Copley, Consumer Spokesperson at Zoopla said: “Cosy and romantic properties are not just for Valentine’s Day.
"Whether it’s a home with a fireplace to keep cosy with a loved one or the luxury of a home with a hot tub, there’s something on offer for everyone with these romantic cottages.”
Other properties that featured on the list included homes in Essex, Devon, Dorset, Gloucestershire and Cowbridge in Wales.
Take a look inside the property
On its Zoopla page, it says: "This beautifully presented, most luxurious New England style property, which enjoys a rural yet accessible location, began life as a Victorian cottage.
"Since then, it has been cleverly extended, exquisitely styled and given a layout that is not only perfect for modern day flexible family life, but would also offer the potential for dual occupancy if desired."
Upon entering the property you'll come into the hallway which forms the centre of the house and which "gives a classic country feel".
The first floor of the property is quite expansive being made up of a sitting room, kitchen, conservatory, family room, dining room, study, boot room/cloakroom and a guest suite.
The family room is described as "homely" and has a fireplace with a wood burning stove.
Meanwhile, the sitting room has an open fireplace, and is described as very "bright" with French doors opening out onto the rear terrace.
If you wanted a place to enjoy "180 degree views of the garden" then the conservatory works very well for that.
Following that, you can find the kitchen which has granite worktops, matching dresser units and a very useful large walk-in larder.
The kitchen directly leads through onto the dining room which can fit a large table and also has a "lovely bay window".
French doors from the dining room lead to the study, which has built-in cupboards and plenty of shelving space.
From there the guest suite is described as a light and spacious room and is the "perfect place for weekend guests or as a principal bedroom".
Going upstairs you can find three bedrooms and a bathroom, as well as an additional bedroom on the second floor.
The principal bedroom has a dressing area with fitted wardrobes and comes with an en suite bathroom.
Externally the house has a "beautiful landscaped terrace" where there is space for alfresco dining and entertaining.
A path leads you through the more formal gardens to a lower level which is laid mainly to grass, whilst the terrace also features a hot tub.
The remainder of the land rolls gently up from the garden and is mostly meadowland which is bordered at the top by farmland and open countryside.
Alongside all of that, there is a double garage and a stable with four spaces.
