A national social justice charity is to host its inaugural conference, with politicians and campaigners taking to the stage to share their experiences.
Cranstoun is a charity which focuses on "addressing inequality, injustice and suffering in the UK".
It is hosting a conference with a range of international speakers and workshops at the Hilton Metropole hotel in Brighton this weekend.
More than 500 people are expected to descend on the hotel, with many more expected to tune into the event's live stream.
Speakers include Kemptown Labour MP Lloyd Russell-Moyle, who will feature in a Q and A panel with Scottish MP Paul Sweeney, an outspoken figure in addressing the UK's drug death crisis.
The conference, from tomorrow to Sunday, is co-ordinated by Peter Krykant, a former Brighton resident who made international news when he set up the UK's first overdose prevention centre.
These are facilities where people who use drugs can do so under medical supervision.
The conference will touch upon areas such as domestic abuse, alcohol and drug treatment, criminal justice, racial justice, young people's services and housing and homelessness.
Domestic abuse commissioner Nicole Jacobs will also be speaking.
A full list of speakers and more information is available at www.cranstoun.org.
