Crawley is one of the best places to survive a zombie apocalypse in the UK, according to new research.
The town was named the second-best place to avoid being eaten by or turned into a zombie by housing platform Rentola, who ranked 306 UK towns, cities and districts based on the possibility of surviving there in the event of the disaster.
The study was conducted using the most recent data available from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) and locations were ranked in the following six categories: vulnerability, hideouts, supplies, hazards, safety, and mobility.
The top 20 locations to survive a zombie apocalypse are:
- Uttlesford
- Crawley
- Folkestone and Hythe
- Thurrock
- West Suffolk
- Swale
- Lincoln
- Somerset West and Taunton
- Harborough
- North East Lincolnshire
- Hartlepool
- Swindon
- Tonbridge and Malling
- Greenwich
- Reading
- Dartford
- Rochdale
- Epping Forest
- Slough
- Cambridge
Brighton and Hove placed a worrying 113th.
Other Sussex locations that appeared included Wealden, which placed 53rd, Chichester, which came 95th, Horsham, which came 107th, Eastbourne, which came 111th, Arun at 114th and Adur at 131st.
