A shop for fans of comics, manga and cult TV is set to have its grand opening next month.
Forbidden Planet, a chain of comic stores, will open its doors for the first time in Brighton on March 11.
The shop sells cult movies, comics and related merchandise. It said it will stock more than 35,000 products sourced from around the globe, from Funko to Bandai toys from the US and Asia.
A range of "fun activities" will be held at the grand opening of the store, which is in West Street. A spokesman said: "We will have cosplayers on site, as well as numerous games.
"We are going to be giving away goodie bags to participants, and they will also be able to win prizes in our competitions.
"We are excited to be bringing the Forbidden Planet magic to Brighton. All our staff are fans themselves, and we are excited to reach a new loyal base of customers."
