A man has been charged with attempted murder following a serious assault.
Lee Tidy, 23, of North Mead in Henfield, was arrested after reports that two men had been assaulted.
Two men were taken to hospital with serious injuries following the incident in Henfield Common South at around 11.25pm on Saturday, February 4.
Tidy has been charged with attempted murder, grievous bodily harm with intent, aggravated burglary and possession of cannabis.
He has been remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear in Lewes Crown Court for a preliminary hearing today.
A heavy police presence was seen surrounding a house late last week.

Sussex Police Chief Inspector Jim Collen previously said: “We understand incidents such as these are concerning for the public, but this appears to be an isolated incident with no wider risk of harm.
“We have an individual in custody and a full investigation is under way to establish exactly what happened.”
Sussex Police said they are not seeking anyone else in connection with the incident.
