Rail passengers are facing delays, diversions and cancellations due to a points failure on a line in Sussex.
The failure, between Haywards Heath and Lewes, has blocked the line, with trains serving the area either cancelled or diverted via Brighton.
Trains between London Victoria and Eastbourne and Ore have been affected by the fault, with disruption is expected until 2pm.
Southern services will stop at Lewes as normal.
A spokesman for Southern Rail said that Network Rail is looking into the fault and that the company is “working to get everything back on track as soon as possible”.
Customers may be entitled to compensation if they face delays, with passengers urged to keep train tickets and make a note of their journey so they can support any claim for the “delay repay” scheme.
