Once again we see, on page 4 of The Argus, February 1, our "wonderful" (?) Green council moaning about and blaming the national government for "all" of their own disastrous local decisions in all areas of the city and its finances.
Millions of pounds wasted on unneeded and unused cycle lanes that have also caused more traffic queueing and hence more air pollution, cancelling a perfectly good public toilet contract that has led to almost all of the city's public toilets to be closed, the possible loss of many Madeira Drive historic motoring events etc, etc, etc.
When will they learn that it is their poor selfish governance that has led to all of this disastrous damage to our once famous, clean and enjoyable city to live in and visit?
Hon Alderman Ken Norman
