A section of a local nature reserve was cordoned off this morning after the body of a man was found by a dog walker.
The man was found by a member of the public in Wild Park, Brighton, this morning.
A witness said they saw police officers at the scene earlier today.
Wild park is the largest local nature reserve in Brighton, with many paths and walks across 593 acres of green space.
A spokesman for Sussex Police said: "The body of a man was found by a dog walker in Wild Park, Brighton, on Tuesday morning.
"The man was discovered around 7.45am, close to the dewpond.
"There are no suspicious circumstances and the matter has been referred to the coroner's officer."
