People have been urged to send in their name suggestions for a new housing development.
McCarthy Stone has asked residents in Goring to have their say on what its new development in Goring Street should be called.
Once complete, the development will feature 17 one bedroom and 18 two-bedroom apartments for people aged 60 and over.
The winner of the What’s in a Name? competition will receive a prize of £200 and see the development bear the chosen name when it opens in 2024.
Work will begin on the site later this year.
Nicki Beswarick, divisional marketing manager for McCarthy Stone Southern said: “We are looking for a name which will really represent the community; and it can be anything from suggestions that honour local landmarks or scenery, to names integrating elements of the town’s rich history.”
To be in with a chance of naming McCarthy Stone's development and winning £200, email mccarthyandstone@mccann.com with your proposed development name and the reason behind it.
Include your name and contact details in the email and add “Goring-by-Sea naming competition” in the email subject header.
The competition is open to entries until Sunday, February 26.
