A main road has reopened after a four-day closure due to ice and flooding.
Part of the A26 was closed for four days but has now reopened between the A259 at Newhaven and the A27 at the Beddingham Roundabout.
Motorists are still facing delays as the closure caused three-mile queues on the A259 from Seaford to Newhaven.
A commuter told The Argus: "I was going to get the train but they were cancelled too.
"The delays are massive and it's a nightmare.
"Traffic is stretching all the way back to Seaford and crawling at about three miles per hour."
Between Seaford and Newhaven, traffic is still queueing for three miles and travel time is 35 minutes.
