Prince Harry is unlikely to attend his father’s coronation later this year, according to bookmakers.
The odds of the Duke of Sussex attending the ceremony in just 15 weeks' time are as low as 2/1, according to Paddy Power.
It comes following the release of the duke’s tell-all book Spare, which has become the UK’s fastest-selling non-fiction book after more than 450,000 copies were sold in the first week of its release.
The controversial memoir includes claims that his brother, the Prince of Wales, physically attacked him and teased him about his panic attacks, and that the King put his own interests above Harry’s and was jealous of the Duchess of Sussex and the Princess of Wales.
Bookmakers Star Sports also revealed there is just an 11 per cent chance that the Royal Family will issue a public apology to Harry and Meghan following the book’s publication.
When asked in an interview with ITV earlier this month if he would attend the Coronation, Prince Harry said: “There’s a lot that can happen between now and then but the door is always open, the ball is in their court.
“There is a lot to be discussed and I really hope they are willing to sit down and talk about it.”
