A flight has been forced to return to London Gatwick after declaring an emergency in the air.
The British Airways flight was forced to turn back over the Irish sea a short way into the flight to Kingston in Jamaica.

A spokesman for British Airways said that the flight made the emergency landing due to a “medical emergency” for a passenger in the air.
The flight turned back around 34,000 ft above Dublin before circling back and returning to London.
The airline added that the service was “delayed overnight and it went the next day”.
