Motorists are facing severe delays along the A27 due to a police incident.
Part of the A27 is closed westbound between the A270 near Stanmer Park in Falmer and Coldean Lane, near Hollingbury.

The eastbound section of the road was closed earlier this morning, but has since re-opened.
Sussex Police have been contacted for comment.
