All lines are closed on a train route after a signal fault.
There will be no trains between Horsham and Barnham into the evening after a power issue caused a signal fault.
The operator Southern has requested replacement buses, and tickets between Horsham and Barnham will be accepted on alternative services via Brighton and Thameslink trains between Brighton and London.
Passengers will also be allowed to use their ticket on South Western Railway between Southampton, Portsmouth and London and on the London Underground via any reasonable route.
The fault has been confirmed as a local power issue that has affected level crossing and caused track circuit failures.
Track circuit failures mean the signalling system is unable to automatically verify if the next section of track past the affected signal is clear.
There will be no trains between Barnham and Horsham until approximately 7pm.
