Commuters are facing delays of around 40 minutes after a rail line has been blocked by a faulty train.
No trains are able to run in either direction between Rye and Hastings due to the issue, with passengers travelling between Hastings and Ashford International advised to use an alternative route.
Replacement buses have been arranged, but commuters have been warned that the delays will extend journey times by up to 40 minutes.
Tickets are being accepted on Southeastern services between Ashford and Hastings and London and on London Underground services.
