A meteor has been spotted flying through the skies over the UK tonight.
The Met Office has received reports of a "massive orange, red ball of fire" seen over England and Wales.
An appeal has been launched for any video of the flying object, described as "much bigger, brighter and longer than a shooting star".

It was reportedly seen in Bristol, Sussex and in London before it eventually disappeared from view.
Dozens of people have posted on Twitter about the suspected meteor, which was seen just after 8pm.
Twitter user Michael English said: "I've never seen anything like it in my life.
"Massive orange red ball of fire."
A meteoroid is a small rocky or metallic body in outer space.
Meteoroids are defined as objects significantly smaller than asteroids, ranging in size from grains to objects up to a meter wide.
