A points failure on a major railway line is causing delays and disruption.
The incident, which took place at Preston Park, means some lines are currently blocked.
Trains are unable to run between Preston Park and Hove and there are delays of up to 15 minutes between Brighton and Haywards Heath.

Services between Preston Park and Hove will be diverted via Brighton or amended.
A spokeswoman for Govia Thameslink Railway, the operator in charge of Thameslink and Southern, said: "You can use your ticket at no extra cost on Brighton and Hove bus services in the Preston Park/Brighton/Hove/Portslade/Shoreham areas."
Delays are expected until at least 4pm.
