Emergency services have been called to the scene after a fire erupted in a Sussex village.
Fire crews from Partridge Green, Henfield, Horsham, Steyning and Haywards Heath are attending the incident in Mill Lane in Partridge Green.
Flames were spotted shooting up from the building earlier this morning, with embers from the fire thrown into the air.
Firefighters have been trying to hose down the fire, with part of the structure of a building collapsing due to the intensity of the blaze.
The incident is understood to involve a flat and an outbuilding.
West Sussex Fire and Rescue urged people to avoid the area and for residents living nearby to keep their windows and doors closed while fire crews tackle the blaze.
A spokesman for the fire service said that the incident has been scaled down, with three crews still at the scene damping down hotspots.
