A section of the A29 is still closed following a landslip completely blocked the road which is not expected to open until the new year.
The section of London Road in Pulborough is blocked in both directions following the landslip which took place yesterday evening.
National Highways have begun to clear the debris between Station Road and Chequers Hotel, but it is unknown when the road will re-open.
Sussex Police earlier attended the scene to close off the road. A large amount of debris can be seen spread across the road.
Traffic data suggests that the road is not expected to be re-opened until January.
