Pub-goers can enjoy discounted prices with pints for as little as £1.29 at four bars in the city.
Managers at The Bright Helm in West Street, the Post and Telegraph in North Street and the West Quay in Brighton Marina Village, three Wetherspoon pubs in Brighton, are reducing the price of a range of drinks and meals.
Hove's Wetherspoon, The Cliftonville Inn in George Street, will also take part in the January sale which begins on Tuesday, January 3 and lasts for a fortnight.
The drinks featured in the sale include draught beers and ciders such as Carlsberg, Bud Light, Guinness and Stowford Press Apple Cider.
Spirits are also on sale, including Gordon's gin and AU vodka.
For those taking part in dry January, soft and hot drinks will also be included.
Low and alcohol-free drinks included in the sale are Beck's Blue, Adnams Ghost Ship, Brewdog Punk AF, Heineken 0.0, Kopperberg and Erdinger.
The sale prices include:
- Ruddles Best - £1.29 a pint
- Bud Light - £1.89 a pint
- Stowford Press Apple Cider - £1.89 a pint
- Bell's whisky (25ml measure with mixer) - £1.29
- Beck's Blue (alcohol free lager) - £1.29 a pint
- Pepsi Max - 99p
- Coffee, tea and hot chocolate (with free refills) - 99p
There will also be discounts on food with porridge for just £1.49 and a burger meal with a soft drink and chips for as little as £5.99.
The Post and Telegraph manager, Matthew Scott, said: "Department stores and shops hold their sales in January, so it is the perfect time to have a sale in the pub too.
"The range of drinks and food on sale in the pub is aimed a suiting a wide variety of tastes.
"This year we have included our biggest selection of low and non-alcoholic drinks.
"I believe that the January Sale will prove popular with our customers.
"As always, staff at the pub will serve customers responsibly."
