Hollywood star Michelle Pfeiffer has shared a snap of a “crazy” Christmas tree made by designers in Rottingdean.
The seven foot pink, gold and red Christmas tree was shared by the designers on their Instagram page Rottingdean Bazaar.
It was then picked up by Michelle Pfeiffer who posted it on to her Instagram page for her 2.5 million followers to enjoy.
It is supposed to be a portrait of Jo Brooks, 54, from Rottingdean, who said it is the third time her and her friends from Rottingdean Bazaar have made one of their trees.
She said: “It’s a portrait of me. They put it on their social media and now Michelle Pfeiffer has shared it.
“This one seems to have taken everyone’s imagination.
“It’s a seven foot pink tree with gold hair, googly eyes and red lipstick.
“There’s a massive resemblance to me. It’s in my lounge.
“It’s definitely the most popular tree we have done.”
Michelle Pfeiffer is best known for her roles as Catwoman in 1992’s Batman Returns, 1988’s Dangerous Liaisons and 1989’s The Fabulous Baker Boys.
The post has been liked by more than 43,000 people with 700 comments about the tree.
Someone said on Instagram that it “gives them very strong Mr Blobby vibes”.
Someone else said that the “tree is cursed” and will “haunt me in my dreams”.
